Portrait Rate: $50/hour

Wedding Rate: $150/hour

All photo sessions include a CD with nearly all the photos from the session. The photo CD includes a copyright release to the disc owner and you may print your own photos, email them, whatever. They are yours.

Wedding rates are so much higher than the normal portrait rate for a few reasons:
* Wedding photos can't be rescheduled for bad weather, illness, or anything else
* Capturing "the best day of (someone's) life" is very high stress
* A variety of, or extra equipment is usually required
* Extra time is usually spent in post production to touch up images (Brides will frequently ask, "Could you PLEASE Photoshop-out this zit???")


Because of this release, I do ask customers to order any additional copies of the photo CD from me for $5 each. Also, if a photo is published for any reason please be sure to credit Ashley Rappleyea for the photo credit.

There is never a sitting fee. All hourly rates can be broken down to the nearest half hour with a 1 hour minimum.

There is no extra charge for travel within the Grants Pass & Rogue Valley area. (Outside this travel area includes Rogue River, Applegate, Wolf Creek, and anything beyond those areas.)

Travel costs should be discussed with photographer and agreed upon before the portrait session.

Wedding/reception photos and portraits are still not for sale without written permission from the individual or, if a minor, parent of the child photographed.

However, all my other photographic works, landscapes, animals, structures, and including special events are for sale. The rate for purchasing photographs is $0.50 per square inch.

To figure the cost of a photograph, multiply the photo width by the height.

Examples:
4x6 photo = 4" x 6" = 24" = $12.00
5x7 photo = $17.50
8x10 photo = $40.00
8x12 photo = $48.00
etc.

This cost gives you a print of the photograph, sent via USPS. Ashlyn Photography c/o Ashley Rappleyea maintains the photo copyright.
